The promise
Exactly one answer. You can prove it.
- 01
Every clue is on screen
Nothing happens off camera. Each case also shows its ground rules, so you know what you can trust.
- 02
The five are drawn alike
Same pose, same light, same frame, same time on screen. Nobody looks guilty by accident.
- 03
Tested blind before it ships
AI solvers see exactly what you see, never the answer. If one can make a second suspect fit, the case is rewritten.
- 04
No trick endings
The answer follows from the evidence you were shown, and the answer post walks through how.

Questions
Before you make your accusation
Is Five Suspects free?
Yes. Every case posts free as a short video, and its answer posts free the next day. The Big Case, a deeper weekly case with a printable file, costs $6, and Founding Detectives get every one.
Where do I watch?
On TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. New cases at 7 pm ET, answers at noon the next day.
Can I play with friends or a partner?
Please do. Watch together and argue it out before anyone comments, or print the case file and spread it across the table. Each case has exactly one culprit, so you can split the suspects between you and report back.
How do I know a case is fair?
Every case is built to have exactly one answer you can prove from its clues. Before it goes out, AI solvers that see exactly what you see, and never the answer, try to break it. If one can make a second suspect fit, the case is rewritten. The suspects are drawn from one template, so no picture points at anyone.
Do I need an account?
No. Watching and commenting are free. Join the Casebook if you want the free case file and our letter.
Who makes Five Suspects?
Five Suspects is made by Funbase, an independent studio. Made with AI tools: the illustrations are AI-generated, and AI agents draft and check each case. Every case is built to have exactly one answer you can prove from its clues.
Can I cancel a membership?
Any time. Everything you have already downloaded is yours to keep.
